The First Post

I’ve been writing this blog in my head now for several years. Every time I comment on something online, they ask for your url and I think femveg.org has all kinds of awesome things on it that I would like people to see…

Except, it doesn’t. Because all of those awesome things exist only in my head so far. As far as others are concerned, this is the first thing that will go up on my web site. The reason: I wanted to have a web site before I had a blog. And I wanted to write all the code myself. But since I have failed for a long time to teach myself to make the kind of web site I want, I know I need to approach this a different way.

First, I will write this blog. Using software that tells me exactly how to do it. Then, I will figure out a way to make the web site I want. Please join me for the ride.
